Church Planting

Anchor is a church plant that launched in September of 2009. We are a young church with a vision to reproduce, as God allows, other healthy, independent, Gospel-centered churches in Seattle. Our goal is to reach the city and see as many people as possible meet Jesus. We are actively involved in church planting in the following ways:

Acts 29 Network

We belong to the Acts 29 Network, which is a movement of churches that plants churches. As a network, our primary focus is Gospel centrality and the establishment of new churches. We are evangelical, missional, reformed, and complementarian. For more information on Acts 29, visit acts29network.org.

Downtown Cornerstone Church

Anchor Church is supporting Downtown Cornerstone Church, a brand new Acts 29 church plant in downtown Seattle. For more information on this new Gospel work visit downtowncornerstone.org.

Vision Nationals

The primary focus of Vision Nationals is to see local people plant local churches in India and throughout Asia. Their goal is to see nationals reaching nationals with the Gospel. In addition to church planting, Vision Nationals runs orphanages, widow communities, medical clinics, primary schools, a college, and a seminary. For more information, visit visionnationals.org.

The Foundry

The Foundry is Anchor’s active role in developing preachers and church plant leaders. The Foundry is committed to life-on-life discipleship, equipping men who feel called to church planting, and training pastors in the context of the local church.
